Instrumental Images
I have been photographing for about 28 years. My dad gave me my first film camera when i was about 10.
When I was 12, I shot my first live show, Michael Jackson's Bad Tour. My family had a business that
allowed me the opportunity to get into a few shows with my camera.  Throughout the 90's I traveled all
around the U.S., Mexico, Canada and Europe, always packing my camera's and capturing whatever I could on
Film. I lived in Durango, Colorado for most of the years between 1992-2001, when I wasn't traveling.

In 1989, I was able to shoot a band called Extreme, (this photo is the guitar player from that band now in a
band called Population 1). In the summer of 2002, I shot my first band (with a digital camera) called Sound
Tribe Sector 9 near Marin, Ca. Later that Summer, a band I had been doing promoting for since 1999,
Slightly Stoopid, offered me a gig shooting a show for them in Central park, NYC.
I was so well received that they offered me a permanent position photographing them.
Soon after, a poster was printed and distributed worldwide. From that point, I realized I had a niche for
photography. With encouragement from bands, friends & family, I persued my love of the art in a new way.
I photographed 20+ bands a year from 2002-2008 ranging from World famous to garage bands.
Currently, I take on 2-5 jobs a month.
